於 1981 年首次推出的《巫術：狂王的試煉場》是一款以隊伍展開冒險的 RPG 遊戲，如今在相隔 43年之後，Digital Eclipse 在保留該作品經典要素、同時為現代 RPG 玩家帶來許多升級內容前提下，推出遊戲全 3D 重製版。

遊戲中玩家將可以建立自己的冒險隊伍，在狂王的要求下進入迷宮，尋找被邪惡巫師瓦德納（Werdna）偷走的護身符。與具有挑戰性的敵人戰鬥、避開陷阱、最終迎戰瓦德納本人。
