　　《快打旋風 6》是今年迎接 35 周年的《快打旋風》系列最新作，採用了 CAPCOM 在《惡靈古堡 8：村莊》、《惡魔獵人 5》、《魔物獵人崛起》使用的自家遊戲引擎「RE Engine」，畫面大幅進化，能夠更細緻地描繪格鬥家們的肌肉、汗水和對戰時的情況。除了新舞台、新角色外，在遊戲模式的部分不僅繼承了對戰格鬥傳統的「Fighting Ground」，還新增了「World Tour」和「Battle Hub」，並根據這三種模式構成了一個巨大的結構。

　　「World Tour」是單人遊玩的寫實故事模式，提供超越對戰格鬥遊戲領域的新體驗。以自身原創的人物在《快打旋風》的世界留下新的傳說。至於玩家們可互相交流的「Battle Hub」是本作的核心模式。玩家可以使用在「World Tour」之旅中鍛鍊出來的化身，一邊與聚集在這裡的其他玩家交流，一邊遊玩「格鬥之地」的線上內容。
