Capcom 正式公佈了新作< 魔物獵人崛起 > (Monster Hunter Rise）。這款遊戲在視覺上充滿了和風元素，故事背景設在煉鐵盛行的「炎火村」，玩家要跟村中的夥伴一起，成為強悍的獵人對抗 50 年一遇的「百龍夜行」災禍。本作名稱中的「崛起」二字，對應的是遊戲中全新的動作系統。這次玩家需要藉助「翔蟲」來完成許多空中的行動，「翔蟲」會飛向獵人指示的方向，並透過「鐵蟲絲」將獵人拉近，助你在各種險境「飛簷走壁」，以及配合不同武器使出各種「充滿特色」的攻擊。

在 魔物獵人崛起 玩家將會遇到怨虎龍、傘鳥、河童娃等全新的魔物，而且在老搭檔艾路貓外，還會迎來新的狩獵夥伴「加爾克」牙獵犬。它除了能積極配合你發起攻擊外，還可以背著玩家快速行動。考慮到新作中的原野不會分隔區域邊界，這樣的設定將有利於玩家獲得更酣暢淋灕的狩獵快感。值得一提的是 < 魔物獵人崛起 >也支援透過 Switch 的通訊功能，實現最多四人的連線合作遊戲。
